Plastmóveis is one of the main industries in Brazil of accessories and technical parts for the furniture industry, attending the main players in Brazil and in the world. The company was founded in 1997, is installed in 10.000m2 of built area, where about 200 employees work.
On the advice of his lawyer, Fabio Garcia, a partner in Tax and Corporate Law at “Rodrigues Garcia Sociedade de Advogados”, we were hired to issue an Economic Technical Opinion regarding the impossibility of a judicial attachment determined in favor of the State of Paraná, corresponding to 10% of the company billing.
For the analysis and conclusion of the opinion, two distinct scenarios (A | Attachment 10%, B | Attachment Compatible with the Cash Generation Capacity of the Company) were elaborated, in order to demonstrate what would be the consequences for the future and continuity of the company in each of the scenarios.
The Technical Opinion was used in the legal defense elaborated, so that the Court of Paraná understood that the percentage of 10% of seizure on the billing would jeopardize the activity of the company, reducing, as recommended in the study, to 1% on Revenue Operational Gross the percentage of attachment.
